Auxerre vs AC Ajaccio

After four consecutive defeats, players of Auxerre managed to respond well in the previous Ligue 2 round when the side won over Chateauroux with a 1:2 result.
They were set as a really strong outsider and the match started in a really poor form for them since the home team took the lead in 32nd minute via Sarr. It was very open first halftime where the hosts looked better than the opponent, however the things got very different in the second halftime.
Hosts were limited to a more passive role and the visitors were the ones who used their chances better. Finally they have reverted the scoreline thanks to goals from Skahi in 47th and Barreto in last moments of the game.
Central back Mickael Tacalfred (30/3) is out injured. Midfielder Romain Philippoteaux (35/11), central back Abdoul Ba (26/1), striker Mohamed Yattara (24/10) are continuing to be sidelined injured.

AC Ajaccio, on the other side, couldn’t manage to build up on their previous victory at home against Lens as the side suffered 2:0 defeat away from home against Le Havre last Friday evening.
It was a defeat against direct opponent in the play-off battle, as AC Ajaccio lost a decent chance to catch up with Nimes and are now three points behind direct promotion placed rival. However must be said that the victory of Le Havre was completely deserved. It was an open game where the hosts simply used their chances better and gained the lead via goal from Fontaine in 24th minute.
Even though the home team stood playing with a man less in 71st minute, players of AC Ajaccio didn’t manage to exploit that fact – instead of it they stood playing with a man down as well in 85th minute when Lejeune got red carded.
Finally, hosts sealed the victory in 90th minute thanks to Youga. AC Ajaccio is now third with five points more than fourth placed Brest and still with some chances of reaching the second position. Auxerre is without a competitive motive standing in the middle of the table with two rounds till the end. However no doubt that they want to finish in style in front of own fans.
Midfielder Kevin Lejeune (23/1) is suspended for this one.

~ Auxerre has four consecutive both to score matches & over 2.5 goals at home.

No doubt that Auxerre will want to leave good impression, while AC Ajaccio for sure wants something out of the clash as well. Hosts are doing actually decently in attack and do have potential there, while the guests anyway remain favorites. Both teams to score seems like an option that can happen already after the first halftime.
