Bournemouth come into this encounter in front of their home fans brimming of confidence after beating West Ham by a score of 3-2 in their last encounter, which has boosted them to 30 points and a 6 point gap v Hull City in the last relegation spot. They followed up that victory after a 1-1 draw against Manchester United; showcasing their great form thats coming into this. Bournemouth have ben relying on Josh King to deliver the goals for him, but he has been well serviced by Wilshere, Stanislas, Arter, Fraser from the midfield. Bournemouth however have been leaky at the back conceding goals in 10 straight games in played in 2017.
Swansea have been in great form since Paul Clement has taken over, finding the back of the net with regular ease. They have now found the back of the net in 7 straight games now including against teams like Liverpool, Southampton, Chelsea and Manchester City. The problem that Swansea has been facing is their leaking of goals. They have only kept 1 clean sheet in their last 14 games, and that won’t bode well for them coming into this encounter. Swansea will look to continue to rely on Sigurdsson and Llorente up front to deliver the goals for them, but Llorente will face a late fitness test which means Borja Baston could start up front. Over 2.5 goals have landed in 15 out of the last 17 games of Swansea.
The game will be an extremely open and attacking one as they have been in all of Paul Clements games in charge of Swansea and in all of Bournemouth’s home games; and in 6 out of the last 7 games have seen over 2.5 goals and both teams to score land. I will go for this game with Over 2.5 goals.
