Chelsea while not having their top scorer Diego Costa last time around but comprehensively beat Leicester City by a score of 3-0 away at the King Power Stadium and now will look to their strong home form to help them push on for another victory with Costa fit and raring to go. Chelsea have Hazard and Pedro in good strong form, sitting wide of Costa in the 3-4-3 formation and that has helped them give plenty of attacking strengths especially with Moses and Alonso putting pressure from the wings as well. Chelsea have had one blip against Tottenham in the last 1 month, but have managed to put 3 goals past Leicester, Peterborough, Stoke, Bournemouth so far. Chelsea have been strong at home smashing 28 goals in 10 appearances to help them to a top spot in the table, with just 1 los coming at home so far.
Hull City are battered and bruised and to add to that misery they have started selling players like Livermore, got rid of McGregor while only signing Niasse as an attacking option so far. Hull away from home have conceded 24 goals in 10 games, with only a shock win against Swansea as their only success so far, while managing to net only 6 goals. Hull City have been smashed 3-0 by Tottenham, West Brom and Sunderland while also getting smashed 6-1 by Bournemouth and 5-1 by Liverpool. Hull despite signing new manager Silva and beating Bournemouth and Swansea over the last 2 home games, lost to Man Utd 2-0 in their opening leg of the Capital One Cup.
Chelsea are looking to tear Hull City apart and put out a statement on a weekend where Tottenham, Man City and Liverpool have dropped points; and victory should help them maintain their lead over Arsenal who play ahead of them.
