Roma come into this encounter on a rich vein of form especially on the offensive end. They are currently the best offensive side in the division netting 26 goals in 10 games played so far. Their form has been due to the slick counter attacking football they have played through their forward line of Dzeko, Salah and El Sharaawy. Roma have been soo good offensively that it seems that they will score heavy against almost all opposition and have had some impressive results in recent weeks beating Napoli 3-1, Inter 2-1 and Sassuolo 2-1 in just their last 5 games. They have been vulnerable at the back also leaking an average of one goal per game and that has landed in every one of their last few games. There has only been one Roma game with less than 3 goals for the entire campaign; and one can expect similar the same.
Empoli have been struggling badly, sitting in the relegation zone, unable to stop 13 goals being hit past them in the 10 games so far; while only replying with 2 goals in return. The struggles offensively is clearly the reason for having them sit at the bottom of the table, and one can expect more damage to continue tonight especially when they take on a strong Roma team; who have been smashing goals past everyone.
This game should continue the trend of Roma’s games going over 2.5 goals
