Manchester United host Manchester City after their biggest loss of the season to date, a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Chelsea. Manchester City themselves have been struggling after their 5 games winless streak. United will feel that in front of their home fans, they have a very good chance in order to find the back of the net against what should be a rotate squad from Manchester City. United should look to start Henrik Mkhitaryan, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial up front in lineup that can be extremely quick on the counter attack. With injuries to Bailly and Jones; Mourinho will look to start Smalling and Shaw at the centre with Shaw and Darmian playing at the full back positions as he aims to steal a victory from this game to fix the loss faced against City earlier in the season.
Manchester City will look to start Iheancho up front, who has landed up with goals in his previous starts in this competition; and expect Sergio Aguero to play some part in order to get back his goal scoring form. Other expected starters will include Cabellro, Otamendi, Kolarov, Clichy, Angelino, Navas, Fernando, Nolito which showcases the strong depth that City have. The major surprise could be the re-inclusion of Yaya Toure to this encounter, but its a far fetched idea at this stage. Their defenses have been extremely leaky, which has seen City 9 out of their lat 11 games, and 7 games in a row since the last one month.
Both teams have been shaky at the back, and you expect a lot of goals to flow through this game with the open style of Guardiola’s offense and the susceptibility to leaking goals by Man United. I expect goals to flow, but for insurance I am backing Over 2 Asian Goal Line in Man City v Man Utd game.
