Numancia vs Reus Deportiu

Numancia comes from yet another draw last Sunday afternoon, when the team visited Almeria and took a point in a goalless game, even though they were looking like favorites to score first on the field.
They had much more of the ball possession and looked more dominant, however failed to make more goal scoring chances against the hosts who did close to nothing in attack, especially in the second halftime.
It was their fourth draw in last six competitive matches, as the side remains without a victory in LaLiga2 in last four matches, being now at ninth position with just two points less than play-off zone placed sides and therefore, in a must win situation.
Home side will miss defender Luis Valcarce (5/0), but also midfielder Pablo Valcarce (17/2) and forward Higinio Marin (12/3) due injuries.

Reus Deportiu, on the other side, also took a point last time out, as the team welcomed Real Oviedo and also finished the clash in a goalless manner last Saturday afternoon.
However, they can be fully satisfied with a point taken, since the visiting side did much more in attack and actually should have won that match, being always very concrete with the ball to their feet and missing some really decent chances during the second halftime especially.
Still, it was second game without defeat for Reus Deportiu, as the side now stands at solid sixteenth position with three points more than relegating placed Barcelona B, but knowing that their destiny will surely be solved in last weeks of the competition.
Guests are set to miss midfielder Jorge Miramon (17/0) and forward David Querol (11/1), while doubtful remain defender Jesus Olmo (22/1) and midfielder Juan Dominguez (16/2).
No doubt that Numancia now have approached must win situation since they need morale improvement soon as well, still being very competitive in a promotional battle, but the side needs to show their best here.
Reus Deportiu is a solid side, but not a promotional material with the offense they have. That’s exactly the power of Numancia in this clash and something that they will surely rely on. Home side to take the victory easy or hard.
