Zwolle have entered now a run of poor results, as the side comes from their sixth consecutive game without a single victory. In the most recent game, they have suffered 3:4 defeat in front of own fans against Feyenoord in the preivous Eredivisie round.
Their guests have entered the game better and have took the double lead with two goals from van Persie in first fifteen minutes of the clash, however the hosts have responded in more than good manner.
Second halftime completely belonged to the players of AZ Alkmaar, but they were again the first one to concede in 51st minute with a goal from El Ahmadi. Rest of the game have belonged to them, as reduced via Saymak but Vilhena re-installed three goals lead in 78th minute.
Only towards the end of the game they have managed to reduce the deficit again, thanks to goals two from Parzysek in a match that could have ended with some other outcome on a different day. Zwolle now stands at seventh position only with a point more than out of play-off placed Den Haag and needs points here in order to stay fully competitive.
Zwolle is set to play in 4-2-3-1 formation with Marinus as central striker, plus Mokhtar, Saymak and Namli as offensive midfielders. Right back Kingsley Ehizibue (27/1) is suspended for this clash, while injured remain left back Dico Koppers (2/0), central back Dirk Marcellis (23/1) and forward Stef Nijland (16/1).
Sparta Rotterdam, on the other side, had some positive results in previous weeks, but the most recent game at home against Ajax was simply too much for them.
Their previous victories over Den Haag and Roda were good results that helped them to keep up the chances of staying safe, but they had no answer against one of the strongest side in the league last time out.
Even though they have taken the lead in 31st minute with a goal from Kramer, the side soon enough understood that Ajax was better, as the guests have outplayed the opponent with goals from Huntelaar in first halftime.
But also via goals from Schone and two goals from Ziyech in the second part. Only thing they could do was to reduce the deficit via Sanusi in second minute of additional time. It was a deserved and a defeat that couldn’t have been avoided as the side now stands third from the bottom with six points less than safely placed Breda.
Guests should be lined up in a version of 4-2-3-1 formation, using Kramer as lone central striker. Offensive midfielders should be Verhaar, Muhren and Ahannach.
Goalkeeper Roy Korstmit (19/0) is injured, same as midfielder Mark Veenhoven (5/0) and offensive Loris Brogno (19/2). Defender Janne Saksela didn’t perform till now anyway being injured.
~ PEC Zwolle have lost 5 of their last 6 matches (Eredivisie)
Zwolle was in a poor momentum but now had plenty of time to re-group themselves. Additionally, they didn’t play that bad previous one at all, while significant individual quality surely speaks in their favor.
