Bilbao is holding the 7th spot in the general rankings, two points in deficit compared to the European-placed Rayo Vallecano.
Right-back Capa (2/0), central defender Martinez (9/0), and midfielder Herrera (8/0) are out for the hosts.
Girona appeared quite dominant in their last home match against underdogs from Almeria, as they completely hammered their foes with a convincing 6:2 result.
They scored as many as four times during the first part, and on two more occasions in the continuation, allowing the guests to avoid complete misery, as they still conceded twice before the full-time whistle.
Girona occupies the 11th spot in LaLiga standings, five points ahead of the relegation-worried Cadiz.

Girona vs Tenerife ❌
Girona did their part of the job in the last round away against underdogs from Alorcon when they appeared more creative and recorded a close 0:1 victory.
They were pretty dangerous during the first, unfortunately missing two penalties, but still scored once over Stuani in the 40th, and kept their lead till the end without any major difficulties, as the home side performed quite passive in this encounter.
They are at the 5th spot in the general standings, being two points in deficit compared to their opponents in the upcoming clash.
Defensive midfielder Terrats (18/0) and winger Fernandez (22/1) are injured. Midfielder Lozano (25/1) is suspended. Central defender Espinosa (35/3) and midfielder Sanchez (4/0) are questionable for now too.
Tenerife continues to appear confidently, as they are currently in a five-match unbeaten run, winning their latest fixture on the road to Lugo with a routine 0:2 result.

Girona vs Almeria
Girona failed to be more creative last time out on the road to Oviedo when they took only a point in a 0:0 stalemate.
The guests did have a significant ball possession advantage during the whole encounter, but obviously lacked more creativity, while the hosts accepted to be involved in a more passive encounter, so it wasn’t surprising that we haven’t witnessed any action in goal-terms here.
Girona is currently at the 16th spot in LaLiga 2, having eight points collected so far in the campaign.
Left-back Junca (4/0) is out injured, as well as talented forward Moreno (1/0).
