The visitors opened the match in a better way, and took the lead over Ismaily in the 12th, but lost their momentum in the continuation, as they conceded an equalizer only thirteen minutes later, and couldn’t do much to prevent the home side to be effective one more time later in the 61st, unfortunately not being in a position to respond accordingly.
Lille is positioned at the 8th spot in the general rankings, recording three victories since the begging of the Ligue 1 campaign.
Defender Djalo (7/1) is suspended, while the hosts should also miss midfielders Zhegrova (5/0), Cabella (3/0), and forward Weah who didn’t play so far.
Toulouse ended their negative run in the last round at home against Reims when they did just enough to record a close 1:0 victory.
They scored the only one in this clash over Aboukhlal back in the 31st, while having a player more on the field in the last half an hour made their job much easier here, as they kept their intact without any major difficulties, many thanks to the quite passive approach of the opposing side.

Lille vs Nice ❌
Lille managed to regain a certain dose of confidence in their latest fixture on the road to Ajaccio when they did a good job and recorded a convincing 1:3 victory.
The visitors appeared more confident with the ball to their feet, and successfully scored on three occasions over Yazici, Bamba, and Djalo up until the 67th, lowering the game rhythm as the match moved towards the end, and allowing the hosts to score once in the last ten minutes.
They miss offensive midfielder Cabella (2/0) and forward Weah.
Nice is coming to this clash after a pretty poor appearance in the last round at home against Marseille, as they suffered a pretty convincing 0:3 defeat, showing very little creativity with the ball in this one.
They were shattered during the first when they conceded three times, trying to be more challenging in the continuation, but unfortunately, without any noticeable success.

Nantes didn’t show much in their latest appearance on the road to Troyes when they come with a narrow 1:0 defeat, stepping away from their European hopes.
The visitors performed with a great deal of passivity and failed to respond to a conceded goal in the 43rd over Ugbo, even though they had control over the ball, especially during the second part of the match.

Marseille did just enough in the last round on the road against underdogs from Bordeaux when they performed slightly more creatively and recorded a victory with a minimal result.
They were on the offensive since the begging and successfully scored over Under back in the 37th, probably deserving a more convincing one, as their appearance was visibly better.
Marseille is positioned at the 3rd spot in Ligue 1 standings, having three points less than second-placed Nice.
The hosts miss defensive midfielder Gueye (15/0) and forward Dieng (14/4) due to AFCON. Goalkeeper Mandada (4/0) won’t play, as well as central-back Gonzalez (6/0). Midfielder Gerson (17/3) and forward Milik (11/1) are doubtful.

Sevilla failed to be more creative last time out in Europe on the road against Lille when they took a point in a 0:0 stalemate.
They had the upper hand during the first part but failed to materialize their generally better appearance, while their front performance was simply not good enough in the continuation for more than just a draw.
No doubt that everyone expects a better result now, which would bring them closer to the knock-out phase later on.

They were quite passive during the first part, but having a player more on the pitch since 50th opened their path for something more concrete. The guests used their chance in the 67th and scored over Ajorque and recorded their second consecutive victory in Ligue 1.
Strasbourg is at 9th spot in the overall standings, having two points less compared to the European-placed Lorient.
Forwards Mothiba and Dion (both no play this season) are out, as well as midfielder Bellegarde (6/0). Offensive Waris (5/0) is doubtful.

Lens vs Lille
Lens managed to be somewhat competitive last time out on the road against PSG, but they still suffered a 2:1 loss.
They were outplayed during the first sixty minutes of play, as they conceded two goals in that period, but their offense looked better and better as the match moved towards the end.
The guests reduced over Ganago right after they conceded their second one, but unfortunately for them, not being in a position to do something more in this one.
Lens is currently at 5th spot in the rankings, but they need to on alert as both Marseille and Rennes are in a position to threaten them.
Left-back Sylla (20/1) is suspended, while injured is also left-back Haidara (24/2). Central-back Diallo (25/0) should be out injured too.
