Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona

Atletico Madrid come to this game after a solid run of games without a loss that has seen them slowly building momentum to solidify 4th spot holding off the pressure from Sociedad behind them and chasing Barcelona who are 6 points ahead common into this critical fixture. Both teams know that victories are extremely critical for their respective targets and especially Atletico Madrid after struggling early on in the season. Atletico Madrid has now built an 8 game unbeaten run in La Liga while while losing just 1 in their last 11 games. A lot of that success has come due to their goal scorers getting back into form particularly of Gameiro who last week netted the 2nd fastest hat-trick in La Liga. Greizmann and Torres his partners up front have also picked up form, and a solid 4-2 win in mid-week against Leverkusen would have done their confidence a world of good. Atletico’s scoring form has been good, having being shut out just once in their last 17 games in all competitions. Madrid will have keeper Oblak return in goal after an injury layoff while Godin might return earlier than expected to help Savic in defense with Juanfran still out due to injury.

Watford will look to continue that success with their goal scoring especially when they take on a West Ham team who have been shipping goals in 76% of their games all season. Valencia vs Bilbao

Valencia look to push on the miles as they take on Bilbao who will be a bit tired from their Europa League exploits and will know they have a chance to get 3 points here to distance them from the relegation zone. PSG vs Barcelona

PSG entertain Barcelona knowing that they have been in great form coming into this game but were unlucky as group winners to get Barcelona at this stage. PSG have made some good transfers in this season to replace the loss of Ibrahimovic. Along with Di Maria, Cavani and Lucas up front; they are able to call on Draxler and Ben Arfa to come and also create chances and score goals. Cavani (25 goals) in particular comes into this game in lethal form as he leads his team with 8 goals in a stretch of 13 games which PSG has gone unbeaten and drawn only 1 game in that stretch. Their defense has been with just 4 goals conceded in that stretch which will be something they will be proud off especially coming into this encounter against an extremely attacking Barcelona. However, when good teams have come to town, PSG have shown to struggle conceding against Monaco, Lille, Nice, Arsenal and Lyon so far this season.
