Amiens took the lead early away to Lille, but actually didn’t look that well and deserved the 2:1 defeat in the end. They tried to stay very passive after the lead and only defend, something that didn’t pay off to them. The side is now just above the relegation zone with a point more than red zone placed Dijon.
Lyon had a pretty difficult game last Sunday night when they visited St Etienne and were behind in the scoreline from the first half, while their hosts only tried to ruin the game as much as possible. Still, Lyon upped the tempo in second and got the victory in bit lucky way in the fifth minute of added time. They are now three points behind second-placed Lille.
Amiens continues to miss midfielder Zungu (2/0) and striker Konate (11/3) due to injuries. Striker Gouiri (7/0) is sidelined for the guests. Rotation is probably with both sides.
Not sure that Amiens has what it takes to match Lyon here. Not only due to the individual quality difference but the fact that they also play against them on weekend and that points are much needed in League 1, while they would anyway remain underdogs, even after the ninety minutes played here. Value is still with the visitors.
