Leverkusen got outplayed for the second consecutive time, as the team visited Hoffenheim and lost 4:1 with being competitive but also too weak at the back. The side had plenty of more of the ball possession, but vulnerable as some of the weakest teams in Bundesliga.
The team is now seven points behind the fourth position and with the same number as Europa League placed Werder, surely aiming for points here now in order to remain competitive for the European exit.
RB Leipzig, on the other side, comes from one of better performances this season when the team destroyed Hertha 5:0 at home. It was mostly all about them last weekend, with Hertha being nowhere close to the expected level and almost doing nothing concrete in the attack.
They also managed to progress into the semifinals of the Cup competition last Tuesday, winning over Augsburg after extra-time. Leverkusen remains without forward Bellarabi (19/5) and right back Bender (16/1), while the guests miss central back Upamecano (14/0).
WIth the way Leverkusen plays and defend, RB Leipzig could be a close favorite here now. Value is still with the goals, with both of them having far more quality in attack than what their defensive lineup is reliable.
