Bristol Rovers vs Swindon

Bristol Rovers comes from a bit unexpected defeat away from home against Notts County in 1/128 finals of the FA Cup last time out on Friday evening, even though the side was set as a slight favorite in this one. They even had the perfect start into the match and have taken the double lead thanks to goals from Sercombe and Sinclair in first twelve minutes, but the respond of the home team was more than great later on.
Players of Notts County managed to level up the result already in first halftime with goals from Yates in 30th and 31st minute, with Stead brought them into the lead in 58th and as the visiting side risked more towards the end, hosts sealed the victory in sixth minute of additional time via Grant. As for the Checkatrade Trophy they suffered 1:3 defeat at home against West Ham U23 team and now need to seek a positive outcome against Swindon, side that needs to get a victory one way or another in order to progress.

Swindon, on the other side, had a pretty easy game last weekend away to Dartforf in the 1/128 finals of the English FA Cup, as the side easily overpowered the opponent on Sunday afternoon. They had a great entrance into the match and were 3:0 up already inside the first thirty minutes, thanks to two goals from Elsnik and one from Smith, while they lowere down the tempo in the second halftime later on.
Still, they managed to score two more at the start of the second, via Linganzi and Mullin in first five minutes of the second halftime, while the players of Dartford reduced in 83rd via Sho-Silva, with the final outcome already being determined. In the previous Checkatrade game, players of Swindon managed to overpower Wycombe 1:0 at home being willing to risk more towards the end as they sealed the victory thanks to Preston in 88th minute.
Both teams will surely rotate the squad a bit, however not as much as usually since they won’t be playing their league matches during the next weekend. One way or another, Swindon needs to get a victory here and the game should be pretty much as open as possible from the first moment.
