Dundalk vs Saint Patricks

It’s a quick turn around in the League of Ireland as Dundalk host St Patricks Athletic at Oriel Park just 3 days after the last round.
Dundalk were involved in a big top of the table clash on Friday against Cork City at Turners Cross. Despite going down 1-0 Dundalk were probably the better side and created more chances than Cork, hitting the post twice! This leaves the Lilywhites 3 points behind Cork so will see some importance in bouncing back straight away.
Karolis Chvedukas is still unavailable and Sean Gannon will likely not feature due to an injury against Cork.
St Patricks were cruising against Bohemians on Friday night leading 2-0 at home. However, with the dismissal of Ryan Brennan, Pats conceded 2 goals and only came away with a point. They’ve struggled away from home too going down to Waterford, Cork, Shamrock and Derry already this season.

Brennan will be suspended for the trip to Dundalk with a number of other first team players doubtful.
St Patricks have a poor record at Oriel Park. Dundalk have won the last 5 league games here with an aggregate score of 18-1.
The trend should continue here.
