Fleetwood town have been doing terrible in their own league sitting in 11th spot in League One and realistically should not be able to compete with Leicester City given their gulf in class coming into this one. Fleetwood have lost 3 straight on the bounce at home in front of their home fans; which will not give them any confidence as the Premier League side comes to town. Defensively, they have been struggling, conceding 40 goals in 26 games which is the 5th worst defense in League One. Manager Uwe Rosler will hope that Devante Cole who has knocked in 10 goals this season; will add more to their tally.
Leicester City come into this competition after a positive win in midweek over Huddersfield town by a 3-0 scoreline; and will look to this competition as a great chance for them to pick up some silverware as well as potentially get into Europe. Riyad Mahrez has been the player of the season so far for Leicester, and we expect him to replicate his form in this encounter. There is a good chance for Leicester to start with 2 strikers up front with Adrien Silva making his first full start along with Islam Slimani who found his scoring touch on being given a full 90 minutes to play in mid-week. Defensively, Leicester have shown some chinks at the back conceding goals in 11 out of their lats 13 encounters in all competition. Things won’t be any easier as Morgan, Huth and Simpson should miss out due to injury while Vardy will miss out to start due to a niggle.
Leicester look the stronger of the 2 sides; hungry to showcase their talents while manager Claude Puel will want to showcase to the fans that he is taking this trophy seriously. I am backing Over 2.5 Goals in this game in what should be an open FA Cup encounter.
Bet : Over 2.5 Goals
