Hertha vs Werder

Hertha surprised everyone in a 3:0 victory away from home against Gladbach. They left the ball possession to their opponents but were very effective via counters mostly. It was a morale-boosting victory after three official games with no win, as the side now stands just two points behind Euro zone.
Werder confirmed good form, as the side won over Augsburg 4:0 at home, just a couple of days after they excluded Dortmund from the Cup. Their victory was completely deserved, with three goals scored inside the first half. They are just three points behind Euro zone and in need of continuation of good form.
Forward Leckie (10/2) is injured, with midfielder Maier (19/0) and forward Dilrosun (10/2) being doubtful. The guests are set to miss forward Harnik (13/3). Doubtful are a couple of players who anyway didn’t perform so far.

Hertha is a slight favorite, but with Werder coming in a good atmosphere, the game because very unpredictable in a matter of 1×2. With the way Werder plays, it’s almost certain that they will score, maybe even not just once, making the game as open as possible against also effective hosts.
