Even though they had an active result for most of the match, Huesca couldn’t do more in a 2:1 loss to Valencia. It was an open game and the hosts got the win only in the fourth minute of added time but looking like a side that can up the tempo any time. With just one win, back in August, they keep the rock bottom position already with eight points less than safely placed sides.
Betis was set as quite a favorite in a home match against Eibar but took just a point in a 1:1 game. They took the lead early, however, started playing more and more passive as the time went by. Finally, they got leveled up and punished from a penalty kick twenty minutes before the end. They are now at the sixth position and need a win here to keep up the race.
Left-back Luisinho (6/0) is injured for the hosts, while doubtful are midfielders Gurler (13/0) and Aguilera (6/0). The visiting side has central back Sidnei (13/1) and defensive midfielder Firpo (15/3) injured.
Individual quality surely speaks for Betis in this one and they should be able to get the three-pointer easy or difficult. Huesca doesn’t completely remember of a real LaLiga side and shouldn’t stay competitive here till the end.
