The Italians met the expectations in their opening match in Rome against Turkey when they were pretty convincing with their 0:3 victory.
From the begging, it was clear that the Italians had complete control, and it was quite surprising that they failed to be effective during the first part. However, after a setback made by the Turks in the 53rd when they scored their own goal, the path was open for Italy.
Immobile raised to 2:0 in the 66th, while the final result was set by Insigne in the 79th. Turks, even though quite potent before this opening clash, simply were not in a position to match a highly motivated Italians.
Italy currently holds the leading spot in the group shared with Switzerland, Turkey, and Wales, eager to continue where they left off last Friday.
The hosts are having defender Florenzi (44/2, PSG), midfielder Verratti (40/3, PSG) and forward Berardi (12/5, Sassuolo) doubtful with injury issues this time.
The Swiss failed to be more creative at their opener against underdogs from Wales, as they took only a point in a 1:1 draw.
They did have the ball to their feet for most of the time during this clash and were able to take the lead first over Embolo at the beginning of the second part, but persistent Wales managed to respond in the 74th over Moore.
Overly looking, Switzerland probably deserved more in this clash, as they looked a bit more dangerous, and due to VAR technology, their second goal was disallowed in the last five minutes of the encounter.
Switzerland is positioned at 2nd spot in the previously mentioned group, having a very difficult task in the upcoming clash against leaders from Italy.
Midfielder Zakaria is now probably pushing for a start, with Embolo definitely starting now probably in a version of a 3-4-1-2 formation.

Switzerland didn’t look that great against Wales and it’s hard to imagine them having plenty of chances to score here. Knowing that, Italian victory with a goal or two scored seems quite likely and represents a decent value bet this time.
