Kaiserslautern vs Preussen Munster

Kaiserslautern last season finished on last position in Bundesliga 2 and from this season will participate in 3rd division. That’s big tragedy for this club because they won Bundesliga four times and also they have two Cup trophies. I don’t expect from Kaiserslautern to be in this league for more seasons than 1 and I will be shocked if they don’t get promotion at the end of this 2018/19 season. In first two rounds they have victory (1:0 Munchen 1860) and draw (1:1 Sonnenhof Grossaspach). In first game against Munchen 1860 there were 41.000 fans on their Fritz-Walter stadium so I expect another game with large number of spectators today. They will be without midfielder Dylan Esmel (0/0, unimportant) but coach Frontzeck will have all other players available.

On other side is Preussen Munster – team who is part of this league for last 7 season and just once they managed to finish on 4th position, all other seasons they were somewhere in the middle of table. This season I again expect from them to secure their 3rd league status but not to get promotion. In first two rounds they first defeated Fortuna Koln (4:1) but then played very bad and lost against CZ Jena 1:2 although they were favorites. For this game coach Antwerpen will have some problems because he cannot count on defender Lion Schweers (2/0, ankle injury), midfielders Philipp Müller (newcomer, calf problems), Benjamin Schwarz (0/0, ligament injury) and Danilo Wiebe (0/0, rehab after ligament rupture).
I expect another good performance from Kaiser on their stadium and to get 3 points here. Munster never was good on away grounds (last season 5-5-9 20:32) and they didn’t play in front of more than 30.000 fans for years so Kaiserslautern has many advantages.
