Levante was competitive to a certain level last time out in LaLiga on the road against favored Espanyol, but still, in the end, suffered a close 4:3 defeat in a pretty dramatic thriller.
They conceded first in the 6th but managed to respond perfectly as they reversed with two goals scored before the first part ended. Excitement was not lacking in the continuation, as the hosts equalized at the begging of the second, triggering the visitors once again, as Levante took the lead later in the 57th.
Unfortunately, that was all they had to offer in this one, as they conceded two more times in the next nineteen minutes, and ruined their chances for a comeback when they were left with a player less on the field since 78th minute.
Levante is currently at the bottom of the table, having only eight points collected since the start of the LaLiga campaign.
Defenders Postigo (3/0) and Mustafi (10/1) are out injured, while midfielder Radoja (8/0) also misses out. Defensive midfielder Malsa (12/0) is suspended, same as right-back Son (10/1).
Valencia had some difficulties but met the expectations in their last LaLiga home clash against underdogs from Elche when they took a narrow 2:1 victory.
They took the lead in the 23rd over Guedes but appeared reserved a bit when the match moved to the second and conceded an equalizer later in the 75th. Even so, the hosts managed to bounce back eleven minutes later over Piccini, who brought his team second consecutive victory in the campaign.
The Bats are holding the 8th spot in the general rankings, four points in deficit compared to the European-placed Sociedad.
The guests miss defender Alderete (15/1) due to covid, but also injured defenders Correia (6/0), and Gabriel Paulista (12/1). Midfielder Wass (17/1) and forward Gomez (13/2) are suspended.

The fact is that the visitors are appearing generally with more confidence this season compared to their opponents, and in my opinion, they are closer to victory in the upcoming clash.
However, they can be unpredictable from time to time, and even though Levante is hammered at the bottom, they simply have nothing to lose if they approach more aggressively, so a draw definitely remains as a possibility here – medium stake only though.
