Lyon vs Montepellier

Lyon is having pretty fine season so far, at least in Ligue 1 as the team comes from a very important and impressive 5:0 victory taken away from home against St Etienne before the international break.
It was close to a one sided game from the beginnig, as the guests took the lead in tenth minute via Depay and doubled up the lead in 25th via Fekir, completely dominating the second halftime and managing to score three more goals till the end, via Diaz, Traore and Fekir again for their completely deserved and seventh victory in first twelve rounds of Ligue 1. The side now stands at third position having four points less than second placed Monaco and surely that a victory here remains their first target.
They should be playing in 4-3-3 formation with Depay, Mariano and Traore as forwards. Midfielders Clement Grenier (1/0) and Pape Cheikh (no performance so far) are injured, while important forward Nabil Fekir (11/11) won’t be playing here due suspension.

Montpellier, on the other side, comes from a point taken in front of own fans against Amiens in a 1:1 draw in a game where they looked like quite a favorite, at least on the paper before the clash.
The game itself was quite a defensive one, with the visiting side staying behind the ball and waiting for a chance on counter attack, while the players of Montpellier didn’t look that concrete in attack even though they did create more and better chances overall. They even took the lead first, in 82nd minute via Sio, while the guests replied back in 88th minute via Avelar, without any of the teams being willing to risk more further on. The side now stands at eight position with sixteen points, which is four more than relegating placed sides.
Guests are set to play in 3-4-1-2 formation with Sio and Mbenza as forwards. Defensive midfielder Ellyes Skhiri (10/0) and central back Daniel Congre (11/1) are both suspended, while injured remain defender Morgan Poaty (1/0).
Lyon have scored at least 2 goals in their last 8 home matches (Ligue 1).
Lyon will be missing their best striker and player for this one, but still remain favorite to get all three points. However, with their defensive lineup being anything but a reliable one, my first betting option will be both teams to score at least once. Visitors are far away from a naive side and surely know that they can’t get something here in case they stand only behind the ball.
