Manchester City vs Chelsea

Manchester City have been unplayable in recent weeks demolishing almost all opponents in sight with the minor blip of the loss in the FA Cup to Man City. They have beaten Arsenal twice last week by a 2-0 and 3-0 scoreline while prior to their FA Cup loss beat Basel 4-0 and Leicester City 5-1 showcasing how strong they have been on the offensive end. Kyle Walker and Raheem Sterling will most likely miss out this encounter leaving Danilo and Bernardo Silva to start in their place. Sergio Aguero has been in great form heading into this game along with Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane and David Silva which gives City plenty of options for scoring on the offensive end against this Chelsea outfit.

Chelsea on the other hand have been struggling and now sit in 5th spot in the table, which is something that they are not used to. They are 5 points behind Tottenham who sit in 4th and their hopes had a major dent last week with a 2-1 loss away to Manchester United. They travel to Manchester for the 2nd time in a week facing the blue half of Manchester who have recently been the stronger off the 2 sides. Chelsea have been struggling to score consistently as Morata and Giroud have not been able to deliver the goals and they have relied on the midfielders like Hazard, Willian and Pedro to contribute to the scoring. Chelsea on the defensive end have been struggling especially away from home conceding in 3 straight away games heading into this encounter.
The prior matchup between these 2 sides was tight considering it was earlier in the season and both were still in the top 3; now Manchester City would like to romp to victory over their opponents and considering the struggles that Chelsea have had recently; I expect City to win this game with at least 2 goals being scored in the match.
