The Netherlands surely has the upper hand in this one and will probably try to use this match in the best way possible and warm-up for the upcoming European Championship.
This will be their 12th friendly against Scotland in mutual history, and as mentioned, they have the better result, having five victories, three draws, and three losses, so definitely, the bookies are quite reasonable considering them as favorites, and not just by their H2H friendly matches, but due to obvious difference in quality.
They will miss defenders Hateboer (11/0, Atalanta), Tete (14/0, Fulham), Karsdorp (3/0, Roma), midfielders Vilhena (15/0, Krasnodar), Strootman (46/3, Genoa), and forwards Babel (69/10, Galatasaray) and Bergwijn (12/1, Tottenham) for this one.
Scotland found its way to EURO first time since 1996, after a dramatic win on penalties over Serbia in the play-offs match in Belgrade.
They were pretty convincing last time they were put together in March this year in the World Cup qualifiers when they dominated over the Faroe Islands and took a convincing 4:0 victory, but it had to be said that the opponents simply can not be considered as a competitive side.
Overly looking, they play tough football, but I am not sure that they can fully match the Netherlands in the upcoming encounter.
They can’t count at defender Palmer (8/0, Sheffield Wednesday), midfielders Jack (10/0, Rangers), McLean (20/1, Norwich) and forwards McBurnie (16/0, Sheffield Utd), Griffiths (22/4, Celtic), and Paterson (17/0, Sheffield Wednesday).

Far more dangerous
Having a great offensive potential, in my opinion, the Netherlands shouldn’t have many difficulties in winning over Scotland in this preparational match. Simply said, sooner or later, their distinctive offensive play will make a difference, and their victory with at least one goal margin is seeming realistic for a medium stake, at least in my eyes.
