Palermo vs Frosinone

After four consecutive matches without a victory, three defeats and a draw, players of Palermo finally responded with far better performance as they took a convincing 4:1 victory at home over Ascoli ten days ago. However, neither that game started in a proper way for them, as they were down in the scoreline with a goal from Bianchi in 42nd minute, completely against the flow of the game as the home side deserved the lead already in the first half.
However, their response was great in the second half, reverting the scoreline with three goals in first ten minutes of the repetition, twice via Rispoli and with one from Coronado. They remained better till the end, netting once more, in 83rd minute via Nestorosvki.
It was an important three pointer for Palermo, not only to keep the table position but to improve the morale overall, as the side now stands at fourth position at the moment, having four points less than second placed Empoli and surely aims a victory here in order to get back to the race for the direct promotion as soon as possible.
Central defender Andrea Ingegneri (no performance so far anyway) and right back Michel Morganella (10/0) are both sidelined due injuries.

Frosinone, on the other side, comes from just a narrow 1:0 victory in front of own fans last weekend against Novara. It must be said that the players of Frosinone looked way better and had much more chances created, surely deserving even bigger margin victory.
On the other side, visitors from Novara were limited to a passive role doing close to nothing in attack. Only goal was scored in 24th minute via Citro, with the visitors failing to reply in any way even after being down in the scoreline – while the hosts missed some good chances, including penalty kick in the second halftime.
Players of Frosinone are now leading the table thanks to setback of Empoli, having two points more than second placed opponent and five more than third placed Cittadella.
Central midfielder Paolo Sammarco (13/1) is injured for this one, while suspended should be central back Emanuele Terranova (24/3) and left back/midfielder Danilo Soddimo (15/4).
Palermo might be closer to obtain all three points and are slight favorites, however the game should be nowhere close to an easy one for them. Frosinone is very dangerous away from home and always looking to score a goal more – something that should determine this game as well. Both teams to score seems like the most valuable option for this one.
