Portimonense vs Belenenses

Portimonense couldn’t do much more in their defeat in previous Primeira Liga game already more than two weeks ago, as the side visited Sporting and suffered 2:0 defeat. The Lions were more superior side, taking the lead in ninth minute via Fernandes.
Meanwhile, the game became even easier as the guests stood playing with a man less when midfielder Hackman got red carded and the hosts sealed the match with a goal from Dost in 60th minute. The side now stands at 12th position with five points more than relegating worried Estoril. They also had League Cup matches before the New Year, having 2:2 draws away to Benfica and Braga, leaving overall more than good impression with rotated squads.
Hosts should be playing in a version of 4-3-3 formation with Nakajima, Fabricio and Dener as forwards. Midfielder Oriol Rosell is available again, while injured remains right back Ricardo Pessoa (8/0).

Belenenses was completely outplayed in their previous Primeira Liga game, as the side visited Braga and suffered 4:0 defeat without actually standing a chance to walk away with something.
Braga looked better in the first halftime, but took only a 1:0 lead with a goal from Martins in 36th minute, while the second halftime looked way more open from both ends, but the players of Braga were the only ones who scored goals – in 55th via Sousa, via Silva in 87th and Hassan in fourth minute of additional time.
Belenenses is now at eleventh position having six points more than relegating placed Estoril, but in obvious downtrend with only one victory in last eleven competitive matches. They also had two draws in League Cup matches before the New Year, both game played at home against Maritimo and Sporting.
Guests are set to play in 4-2-3-1 formation with Hernandez as central striker, plus Viana, Sousa and Ribeiro as offensive midfielders. Midfielder Merlin Tandjigora (8/1) and goalkeeper Muriel (15/0) remain sidelined with injuries.
~ Portimonense have seen over 2.5 goals in their last 3 home matches against Belenenses.
Portimonense looked really great with their offensive power few weeks ago, but the side was in downtrend in most recent matches. However, I definitely see them bouncing back to winning ways as they host a side which is in even worse run, losing out seven in last eight rounds. Hosts to win with valuable odds.
