After four consecutive victories in Bundesliga and a Champions League spot secured, RB Leipzig had a 3:3 draw away to Mainz last weekend.
It was a wide-open game from the first minute, as the guests had the double, however, also lowered down the tempo in the second half in quite an equal game. The side is third on the table without much chances to move to the second place.
Bayern Munich isn’t playing the best football of the season, however luckily for them, neither their closest followers from Dortmund do.
With two rounds till the end, the side is now four points above Dortmund thanks to a 3:1 victory at home over Hannover. Overall, their victory was completely deserved and actually should have been a bigger margin one.
Defenders Upamecano (14/0) and Adams (9/0) are doubtful coming off from injuries for now for the hosts. The guests miss goalkeeper Neuer (26/0) and offensive Rodriguez (20/7).
RB Leipzig has not much of the competitive motive, however, I don’t see them being passive either here. Bayern has all the motive, however, the side failed to be more concrete and reliable in away matches – my first choice will be with the goals in this one.
