Sassuolo finally reacted fine in their home clash against Bologna last time out, celebrating a 3:1 victory in the end.
It was their first home victory after three straight defeats and quite a difficult home schedule. This time it was quite a balanced match where the hosts showed their effectivity.
However, other than that, the game could have ended way differently on some other day as Bologna didn’t lack chances either.
Sassuolo is now at satisfying four points above the relegation zone position, however with simply too much-conceded goals so far – twenty-one out of eleven matches. Worst possible defense next to Lecce and Genoa.
Defender Chiriches (4/0) is injured for the home team, as well as another defender Ferrari (6/0) and midfielder Mazzitelli (1/0).
As for Serie A, Lazio has entered a really good form recently, coming from fourth straight victory before the international break.
It was all about their effectivity in a home clash against Lecce and a 4:2 win, as the guests also created more than enough chances and maybe deserved something more back then.
The team comes off from a pretty difficult schedule, as they previously have won on the road to Fiorentina and Milan, winning over Torino at home in between.
The side is now in the third position and surely seeks further improvement and finally to get that Champions League ticket that seems to be quite realistic this season.
Right midfielder Marusic (6/1) is still out injured and should be the only absentee worry for the guests.
Lazio remains a favorite in this one, but are also conceding easily on the road. Sassuolo is surely not coming into this one in order to be passive and just defend. Something that promises quite an open game and active approach from both teams.
