Schalke vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Schalke did really well last time out in front of own fans as the team defeated Dortmund with a 2:0 result last Saturday afternoon. They were slightly better in the first halftime and maybe looked just bit more dangerous, taking the lead in 50th minute thanks to a goal from Konoplyanka.
From that moment on, players of Dortmund had complete control over the ball and have created chances, while Schalke stood satisfied with the current result and tried to defend their lead. However, just when Dortmund was attacking the most, Schalke scored their second goal, in 82nd minute via Naldo to seal the three pointer.
With this victory, Schalke is now second at the table with four points more than Leverkusen and Dortmund and now they look almost as sure participant of Champions League knowing that they have eight points more than Leipzig.
Burgstaller should lead their attack in 3-4-2-1 formation together with Goretzka and Harit as offensive midfielders. Central defender Matija Nastasic (24/0) is injured. Forward Breel Embolo (20/2) is doubtful for this clash.

Eintracht Frankfurt, on the other side, comes from quite difficult defeat last time out as the team visited Leverkusen and stood outplayed with a 4:1 result. Hosts were slightly better in first and took the lead in 20th minute via Brandt, while the guests replied couple of minutes later via Fabian in one of rare chances for the guests.
However, they were completely outplayed in the second halftime, as Leverkusen slowly increased the tempo in second part and managed to outplay the opponent with three goals from Volland in last twenty minutes. This was third consecutive game for Eintracht without a victory, as they also recorded fifth consecutive defeat in Bundesliga on the road.
The team is at seventh position now sharing the Europa League position together with Hoffenheim and need to get a victory against Hertha Berlin this weekend.
Guests will play in 3-4-2-1 formation, most likely with Jovic as central striker. Wolf and Fabian should be his offenisve support. Central defender Carlos Salcedo (18/0) is injured, same as defensive midfielder Omar Mascareli (5/0) and forward Ante Rebic (24/6).
Schalke is in a really fine form at the moment and should be able to overcome Frankfurt in this one. Visitors are far away from a naive side, but are showing nothing special away from home all second part of the season. I definitely see value with the home victory in this one.
