Valarenga had a very good display last Sunday evening when the team won on the road to Haugesund with a 1:4 result in impressive style.
They had a 3:0 lead even before the halftime, in a match where they have shown great efficiency out of the chances created. It was their first victory after three rounds, as the side looks now to get back into the race for the European exit.
The hosts keep missing defender Tollas (10/0) and forward Vega (8/2) due to injuries.
Bodo/Glimt comes from a quite authoritative performance at home over Odd in a 3:0 victory.
It was maybe even more open game than what the final result says, as the home team had the lead since the 30th minute but didn’t lower the tempo much. It was a third consecutive victory for Bodo/Glimt, as the side remains now with three points less than Molde.
Midfielder Moberg (9/1) is injured, as well as talented young striker Boniface who didn’t perform so far anyway.
No doubt that Valarenga will be going for all three points here, wanting to get back into the race for the top three positions.
Bogo/Glimt also can’t afford to drop points here if they are to stay in the title race. With the way, both teams play and the fact that they both will be looking for a victory, goals look like granted in this one.
