Villarreal did a great job in their last home fixture against underdogs from Alaves when they deservedly celebrated with a convincing 5:2 victory.
They started the match in the best possible manner and took a double lead in the first half an hour, however, decreased their concentration a bit, as they allowed the visitors to equalize with two conceded in the 44th and the 66th, but even so, bounced back perfectly with another three added to the scoreline in the continuation, not leaving any room for surprises to occur in this one.
Villarreal is currently at the 10th spot in the standings, visibly improving lately, and are only four points in deficit compared to the European-placed Sociedad.
Forwards Alcacer (9/0) and Danjuma (12/5) should be out injured, as well as midfielders Pena (6/0) and Coquelin (13/1).
A bitter taste was left for Levante last time out at home against Valencia when they were involved in a pretty dramatic derby-thriller, but still, come with a 3:4 defeat when the dust settled.
They had a 2:1 lead after the first forty-five minutes, but the Bats appeared quite confident in the second when they were successful in scoring three more times, while Levante only managed to reduce just before the match ended, probably deserving at least a draw in this encounter.
Levante is hammered at the bottom of the table, having only eight points collected so far in the running season.
Defensive midfielder Radoja (8/0) is out, same as central-backs Postigo (3/0) and Mustafi (10/1). Defensive midfielder Pepelu (10/0) and forward Soldado (10/0) should be out suspended.

Too insecure to be a challenge
The visitors haven’t tasted victory since the begging of the LaLiga campaign, and with the way things are looking now, I am not sure that they will be able to escape the relegation-battle scenario.
Villarreal, on the contrary, is visibly improving, being more and more competitive, so I would be surprised if they fail to record a victory in an easy way. Just a recreational stake under current circumstances in whole Spain.
