West Ham is in series of three matches without a victory, as they have two draws against Tottenham and Manchester City and a loss in the last round to Liverpool with a 2:1 result, away from home.
Considering the quality of the opponents, they can be satisfied with the way they appeared. In their latest clash against Liverpool, they were able to take the lead first in the 10th minute over Fornals, but the very aggressive home side quickly took control over the match and with goals in the 42nd, from the penalty, and the 85th minute, completely turned the result to their favor and record an expected win in this clash.
West Ham is currently in 14th place in the rankings, having a great chance for a three-pointer in the upcoming clash with far less quality Fulham.
Forward Michel Antonio (6/3) remains out due to a thigh injury.
Fulham managed to record their first victory this season in the Premier League when they defeated WBA last Monday with 2:0, in a home match.
The home side looked far more dangerous with the ball to their feet during the first part when they took the double lead with goals scored by Reid and Aina. As the match continued, the game rhythm decreased, with both teams being too passive, so the result remained unchanged until the end of the encounter.
Fulham is visibly having difficulties adapting and with this only victory, is positioned at 17th place, having only four points collected so far.
The guests will miss suspended offensive Kamara (5/0), plus injured right-back Tete (2/0), midfielder Onomah (2/0), and central defender Kongolo who didn’t play yet anyway. Doubtful are midfielders Lemina (4/0) and Kebano (4/0).
Showed more so far
Even though West Ham has three matches without a victory, they are entering this clash as strong favorites, as they proved that they can cope with far stronger opponents in their last three matches. They have everything that it takes to record a victory in this one, and if they appear similarly as they did in their last encounters, the result will certainly follow. Despite the latest victory, Fulham didn’t show much so far.
