Zimbabwe had more of the ball possession and control in their second round game against Uganda, but only managed to take a point in a 1:1 draw.
They were pretty decent in attack, however should have been a bit more sharper this time. Similar to their performance in the first round against Egypt, they again showed not to be pushovers at all.
Goalkeeper Sibanda is doubtful, while the team should continue with the same lineup, using Musona as top striker believing that his luck will change.
DR Congo once again presented themselves in a pretty fine manner in attack, but stood goalless in a 2:0 loss against Egypt in the second round.
They had no luck in the first round against Uganda, continuing in the same manner against Egyptians. The side actually created more than what the final result says and even though the final result was probably inevitable loss – must be said that the team created much more than expected.
Defender Bokadi is suspended for this clash. They should switch to a bit more attacking lineup and formation this time, using a version of 4-3-3 with Bolingi, Bakambu and most likely Bolasie in attack.
DR Congo is probably one of the teams that created the most at the African Cup of Nations, but it’s yet to score here. However, their defensive is full of gaps and it will be one of the biggest obstacles towards their victory here.
Both teams have shown a bit more in attack than what their results are saying – now being in a must win situation when even a one goal difference win can’t guarantee much to both of them – I believe we will see much more open game than what we’ve used to see at this African Cup of Nations.
