Sunderland vs Manchester City

Manchester City are going through a strong spell of form after shaky performances in January. Since 28th of January; Man City has gone undefeated in 7 games; with 6 wins in that time. In those games, 5 of them have been won with more than a 2 goal margin which showcases how improved that their defense has been. Offensively also Manchester City have finally a settled front 3 with Sane, Aguero and Sterling; all of whom have been delivering with good consistency in their recent games while Silva and De Bruyne have been pulling the strings from midfield. Man City will know that this Sunderland team is lacking confidence and they are ripe for the taking. Roma vs Napoli

Napoli come into this game after playing very good match against Juventus by starting to lead early on; before collapsing in the 2nd half to lose 3-1. Napoli now turn their attention to the league taking on Roma who are just 5 points ahead of them and they know that victory will bring that difference to just 2 points if they managed to take victory. They will be looking to start up front with Mertens, Milik and Callejon up front with Hamsik right behind them in the midfield which should help them find the back of the net against a Roma side who let in 2 without reply in mid-week as well. Napoli’s defense has been shaky conceding in 75% of their games on the road. Against the top attacking sides like Roma, Fiorentina, Torino, Juventus they have managed to find the back of the net all as them conceding as well with all of them going over 2.5 goals.

Bordeaux vs Lyon

Bordeaux come into the encounter with some great form behind them, losing just 2 of their last 14 games, and both those coming to the strong PSG side. Bordeaux have really made big strides to sit just 4 points behind tonight’s opponents Lyon; and no one even noticed them passing all the way till here. Bordeaux in particular has been in great offensive form scoring 24 goals in those 11 games played. They have had a number of players contributing their goals which helps them rotate the squad for people to find the back of the net led by Kamano (6 goals), Rolan (5 goals), Malcom (4 goals), Laborde (4 goals), Menez (3 goals). Defensively, Bordeaux have been shaky, conceding 33 goals in 27 games which has seen them concede 8 times in those last 14 games as well which won’t bode too much confidence for them.

Sevilla vs Bilbao

Sevilla are among the strongest sides at home in Europe and that has ensured they have lost a total of 1 league game in front of their home fans, which was a 2-1 loss to Barcelona. Sevilla have relied completely on a team effort throughout this season to keep things in check and ensured that they have all but secured 3rd spot in the League as well as could potentially move to the quarter finals of the Champions League as it stands. They have been in great offensive form throughout the campaign and have scored on average 2 goals per game throughout the campaign with the goal scoring load shared between Iborra, Vitolo, Ben Yedder, Vietto and Vitolo. Defensively, however they have been struggling leaking goals with regularity; an average of over 1 goal per game. Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona

Atletico Madrid come to this game after a solid run of games without a loss that has seen them slowly building momentum to solidify 4th spot holding off the pressure from Sociedad behind them and chasing Barcelona who are 6 points ahead common into this critical fixture. Both teams know that victories are extremely critical for their respective targets and especially Atletico Madrid after struggling early on in the season. Atletico Madrid has now built an 8 game unbeaten run in La Liga while while losing just 1 in their last 11 games. A lot of that success has come due to their goal scorers getting back into form particularly of Gameiro who last week netted the 2nd fastest hat-trick in La Liga. Greizmann and Torres his partners up front have also picked up form, and a solid 4-2 win in mid-week against Leverkusen would have done their confidence a world of good. Atletico’s scoring form has been good, having being shut out just once in their last 17 games in all competitions. Madrid will have keeper Oblak return in goal after an injury layoff while Godin might return earlier than expected to help Savic in defense with Juanfran still out due to injury.

Watford vs West Ham

Watford are looking to maintain their good home form where they have grabbed 18 out of their 30 points so far this season. After they have made some new signings including Niang and Cleverely, along with the attacking strengths of Deeney and Zarate; it has helped them grab 8 points out of a possible 15 in recent weeks. Watford will look to continue that success with their goal scoring especially when they take on a West Ham team who have been shipping goals in 76% of their games all season. Watford have been a bit short of scoring with goals in only 68% of their games; but that goes up to 83% when they play at Vicarage road.

Man City vs Monaco

Monaco travel away to Manchester City with a good run of form, a 12 game unbeaten run has seen them march toward and maintain 1st spot in the French Ligue 1 with a 3 point margin ahead of PSG. Monaco will thank their great scoring form ahead of this game scoring 76 goals in 26 games in the Ligue 1, which has been showcased by players like Falcao, Germain, Bernard, Lemar, Moutinho among the great offensive talent that they have on display. On the defensive end however, its a completely different game where they have conceded in all 6 of their group stage games in the Champions League and in 16 out of 20 away games heading into this encounter.

Valencia vs Bilbao

Valencia look to push on the miles as they take on Bilbao who will be a bit tired from their Europa League exploits and will know they have a chance to get 3 points here to distance them from the relegation zone. Despite not having found a victory in their last 3 games with a 0-0 against Betis, a 4-0 loss to Eibar and a 3-1 loss to las Palmas; they will have to turn to their home form to help them progress to the next stages of the competition. Defensively, Valencia have been very poor with 21 goals conceded in 9 games. Marseille vs Rennes

There is just enough value on the home win here to justify backing it, at this odds. Marseille are very strong at home, where they have lost just once all season (to league leaders Monaco). They have recorded impressive home victories against teams around Rennes in the middle of the table.
In their most recent home game, Marseille comfortably beat Guingamp. In their previous home game, they thrashed Montpellier 5-1 just 3 weeks ago.
Rennes have won just one away game all season and have not won a league game since December 4th, a run of 9 consecutive games.
