Lazio vs Atalanta ❌

Lazio had some problems in their latest Coppa Italia clash at home against underdogs from Udinese but still celebrated in the end after Immobile was able to score the only one in the extra time.
Their latest Serie A performance was more than satisfying, as they convincingly outplayed Salernitana on the road with a 0:3 result, keeping their hopes for the European exit still alive, as they are now six points in deficit compared to the fifth-placed Juventus.
Defender Acerbi (18/3) misses out, as well as midfielders Akpa Akpro (8/0) and Pedro (22/7), while forward Anderson (3/0), midfielder Basic (14/0), and defender Radu (5/0) remain doubtful.

Atalanta vs Roma

Atalanta was successful in their last away Serie A clash against underdogs from Verona when they appeared slightly more creative and recorded a 1:2 victory.
They conceded first in the 22nd, but yet again showed their enviable persistency and equalized over Miranchuk in the late phase of the first part. The guests performed with more aggression in the continuation, adding one more to the scoreline later in the 62nd over Koopmeiners, and deservedly celebrated in this encounter.
Atalanta is currently at the 3rd spot in the overall standings, only three points in deficit compared to the leaders from Inter.
Left midfielder Gosens (6/1) remains out injured for the home side.

Atalanta vs Villarreal

There is not much to calculate here for the Bergamo squad, as only a victory here would secure their further progress, and everything else is simply not in an equation.
A draw would put them in Europa League, while defeat might see them end their European appearance, so needless to say anything about the importance of this one.
They boosted their morale even more after a close 2:3 victory in their last Serie A clash on the road to Scudetto candidates from Napoli, and if they approach this clash similarly, a continuation of the Champions League campaign is looking quite realistic.
Central-back Lovato (6/0) and left full-back Gosens (6/1) are out injured.

A team from Milan did their job in the last round on the road to Parma when they recorded an expected victory with a 1:2 result.
They had the initiative from the very start, but only in the second part, they managed to break through the opponent’s defense, scoring two in the 54th and the 62nd over Sanchez, allowing hosts to spice it up a bit with a goal in the 72nd, but not letting any major surprises to occur in this clash.
Inter deservedly holds the leading spot in Serie A, having three points more than their closest AC Milan and a game less played.

Napoli vs Atalanta

Napoli appeared quite confident last time out at home against Parma when they come with a 2:0 victory, seemingly without too much effort.
They looked far sharper in the offense, visibly having more creativity in their play, despite less of the ball possession overall, and with one goal scored in each part of the clash via Elmas and Politano, deservedly took this routine victory.
This victory was just what they needed, after loss away to Verona in Serie A, currently being at European leading 5th spot in the standings.

Atalanta vs Lazio

Atalanta played a very interesting and dynamic clash in Coppa Italia last Wednesday evening at home against Lazio when they managed to progress further with a 3:2 victory.
Four days earlier, a team from Bergamo performed quite well in Serie A when they defeat Milan with a 0:3, playing as a visiting side. The visitors appeared much better with the ball to their feet, and with three goals scored, one in the first, and two in the second, completely outplayed currently the leaders in Serie A.
They are at 5th place in the general rankings, having the same amount of points the Champions League positioned Juventus, so we can assume that they will go for all three in the upcoming one.

Atalanta vs Lazio

A team from Bergamo did a great job in their last Serie A match on the road against Milan when they recorded a convincing 0:3 victory.
Through the encounter, the visitors were looking better with the ball, and deservedly took the lead in the 26th over Romero. The second part, pretty much, went by in a similar play from both sides, but again, the guests used their chances with better efficiency, successfully scoring two more times over Ilicic (a penalty) and Zapata, being far more threatening and concrete with the ball.
Atalanta is now in 5th place in Serie A, and this victory was just what they needed for the upcoming Coppa Italia encounter.
