Belgium vs Russia

The Belgians, in their qualification campaign, appeared in the almost perfect manner, as their performances were quite dominant, scoring as many as forty goals while conceding only three, so it is not surprising that they are considered favorites early in the tournament.
They are currently enjoying a nine matches unbeaten run, defeating the World Cup 2018 vice-champions Croatia last Sunday with a minimal result in Brussel, and are definitely eager to start their “quest for the European throne” in the best way possible.
They miss midfielder Januzaj (13/1, Sociedad) and forward Origi (29/3, Liverpool) for this competition. Midfielder Witsel (110/10, Dortmund) is not likely to perform at EURO, while highly doubtful is also offensive midfielder De Bruyne (80/21, Manchester City), with Eden Hazard (107/32, Real Madrid) also not being fully fit.

Beerschot Wilrijk vs Gent

Beerschot is currently having some difficulties in the Jupiler League, as they were unable to record a positive result in the last four matches played.
Last time out, they suffered yet another loss, this time on the road to St. Truiden with a minimal result. The match itself was more or less a balanced one, with both sides being pretty much equal in every game’s aspect, but the hosts proved to be a bit sharper with the ball to their feet, as they scored the only goal in this encounter in the 41st minute over Suzuki.
The visitors did try with a more aggressive approach in the second, but their attacks lacked the creativity to do something more. Beerschot is currently at play-off 7th place, but they need to improve their appearances as soon as possible if they want to stay in that race.

Oostende vs Charleroi

Oostende did their job in the last match against Leuven when they justified the role of a slight favorite and recorded a 1:2 away victory after a complete reversal.
They went on a break with a 1:0 deficit but approached more offensively as the match moved to the second and managed to level up in the 59th over Theate. They continued to put some pressure on the opponent’s defense which crumbled in the 72nd when Ngawa scored an own goal and set the final result in this encounter.
Oostende is at 10th spot in the standings, still in a race for the Europan exit places, as only a point separates them and play-off placed Kortjirk.
