Barcelona vs Benfica

Despite their poor start in the Champions League campaign, Barcelona began to appear with slightly more confidence and bounced back with two consecutive victories, defeating Dynamo Kyiv in both fixtures with a minimal result.
They are currently sitting at the 2nd spot in the group, two points ahead of Benfica, and will certainly search for another three-pointer if they want to secure their promotional place.
Forwards Aguero (4/1), Braithwaite (3/2), Fati (5/3), but also midfielder Pedri (2/0) shouldn’t be involved being injured this time. Doubtful are midfielders Busquets (13/1) and Nico (10/0).

Benfica vs Barcelona

Benfica started their campaign in Europe with a 0:0 draw two weeks ago on the road against Dynamo Kyiv, generally, appearing slightly better, but without being concrete in the front.
They had a significant ball possession advantage, and created several decent opportunities, but failed to be more concentrated at the finishing for something more than just a draw, while the hosts performed decently via counters, but also lacking more creativity to make this one a bit more interesting.
Back in Liga Portugal, Benfica is looking unstoppable at the moment, as they have a perfect record so far, and are firmly holding the leading spot in the rankings.
The Portuguese side will miss forward Seferovic (1/0), plus goalkeeper Svilar (not the first choice). Right full-back Goncalves (3/0) is doubtful, while offensive midfielder Radonjic (1/0) shouldn’t play either.

PSV vs Benfica

PSV suffered a close 2:1 defeat in their last European clash on the road to Portugal when they were defeated by Benfica, but their impression looked promising, which can be a hint of what to expect in the second leg.
They looked a bit insecure during the first part and conceded two times in the 10th and the 42nd, but visibly performed better when the match moved to the second.
They reduced over Gakpo in the 51st, unfortunately not being sharp enough for equalization, despite several more than decent opportunities created in the remaining period. Offensive players Ledezma and Romero are long-term absentees for the Dutch team.

Benfica vs FC Porto

Benfica did a good job in their last match on the road against Tondela when they recorded a routine 0:2 victory.
The Eagles opened the match more aggressively, taking the double lead with goals over Pizzi in the 12th and Everton in the 19th minute. Logically, they opted for a less risky approach in the second and kept their advantage till the end without any major difficulties.
Benfica holds 3rd spot in the general rankings, being only four points in deficit compared to their opponents in the upcoming match.
The hosts miss miss right-backs Almeida (4/0), Ferreira (2/0), and defensive midfielder Samaris (6/0). Out should also be offensive midfielder Taarabt (23/0) and forward Nunez (25/6) set as doubtful for now.
