Eintracht Frankfurt vs Mainz

Eintracht couldn’t do much in the last round against Leverkusen when they suffered a 3:1 defeat, playing away from their home.
The guests allowed themselves to be outplayed in the offense, showing very little creativity with their time with the ball. They somehow survived the first part but were not in a position to stop the hosts from scoring three in the continuation, while they themselves only managed to score once in the 90th over Silva.

Wolfsburg vs Union Berlin

Wolfsburg failed to be more creative in the last round against Dortmund, as they suffered a 0:2 defeat, playing back at their home stadium.
They conceded early in the 12th minute, while had a great chance for a comeback here, as they gained a numerical advantage since 59th. However, their passivity cost them points, and with another one conceded, again over Halland in the 68th, suffered a loss in a match where more was expected from their side.
Currently, they are at 3rd spot in the standings, being in a must-win situation, as several teams are in a position to threaten them.
The hosts miss injured offensive midfielder Steffen (21/5), while doubtful are left-back Otavio (20/0), defensive midfielder Guilavogui (18/0) and offensive midfielder Mehmedi (18/0).

Augsburg vs Köln

Augsburg suffered an expected loss in their last match on the road to Eintracht when they were routinely outplayed with a 2:0 result.
Even though they did manage to create several decent opportunities, lack of concentration prevented them to do something more concrete. Instead, they conceded two goals, in the 37th and later on in the 58th, while missing their chance to spice this one a bit in the 73rd when Finnbogason was inaccurate from the penalty.
Augsburg is positioned at 12th spot in the general rankings, seven points ahead of relegation worried Hertha.
The home side will miss suspended central defender Uduokhai (29/1), while unlikely to play are midfielder Moravek (2/0), left-back Pedersen (13/0) and forward Jensen (10/0).

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg

Eintracht positively surprised last time out in Bundesliga, as they managed to win over Dortmund with a 1:2 result, playing away from their home.
They took an early lead in the 11th minute when Schulz scored an own goal, but conceded an equalizer just before the halftime whistle. The second part brought us visibly more aggressive home side, but they paid a price of lacking creativity at the finishing in the 87th when Andre Silva added one more to the scoreline for the visitors and brought Eintracht valuable three points in this one.
Currently, Eintracht holds Champions League-leading 4th spot in the rankings, leaving their closest rivals Dortmund seven points in deficit.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs VfB Stuttgart

Eintracht negatively surprised in their last Bundesliga clash on the road to Werder when they suffered a 2:1 defeat, after a complete reversal.
The guests took an early lead in the 9th minute over Silva, however, their appearance was not looking too confident, especially in the second part when they allowed the hosts to be more creative with the ball, and with two conceded goals in the 47th and the 62nd, failed to meet the expectation in this encounter.
Eintracht is at Champion League-leading 4th place, but they need to be on alert, as their closest Dortmund is only three points in deficit.

Freiburg vs Union Berlin

Freiburg managed to take a point last time out on the road to Werder, as both sides lacked more concentration in the front to make this clash a bit more interesting.
Werder had the initiative during the first part, but similarly to Freiburg, which appeared better in the second, failed to take advantage of the chances they created, so a match without goals wasn’t that surprising considering how both sides appeared in the offense.
Freiburg is positioned at 8th place in the rankings, having only two points less than the European-placed Dortmund.

Leipzig vs Union Berlin

Leipzig failed to be more concrete last time out against Wolfsburg on the road when they come with a 2:2, despite being strong favorites.
They opened the match in a better way, as they took an early lead in the 5th minute, but the home side managed to turn the result in their favor before the first part ended. The visitors did appear quite dominating when the match moved to the second part, but despite their numerous goal attempts, they only managed to level up the result in the 54th minute and walk away with just a point, maybe a bit unlucky.
Leipzig is at 2nd place in Bundesliga, having some minor problems in the last two matches, but never the less, they are second only to the Munich giant by their overall appearances in this season.
