Alanyaspor vs Fenerbahce

Alanyaspor failed to be more creative in their last clash on the road to Basaksehir when they took a point in a goalless game.
Honestly speaking, the guests deserved more, as they looked far more aggressive in both parts of the clash, but lack of sharpens at the finishing prevented them from doing something more concrete in this one, neither having enough luck.
Alanyaspor is currently at 6th spot in the rankings, having eight points less than European-placed Trabzonspor.
Midfielder Hasan Acar (4/0) should be sidelined, as well as injured forward Babacar (25/8).

Sivasspor vs Besiktas

Sivasspor was very lucky to win away to Genclerbirligi (2:3), although they showed a lot of passion for their game. They were terrible in the first half, where they received both goals, while they scored the first one just twelve minutes before full time. They steal the victory in the fourth minute of injury time with an own goal.
They now count twelve games without a defeat (7-5-0) and seeking the fourth or the fifth position that leads to next season’s Europa League. Their fixture program is quite good, with opponents like Denizlispor and Malatyaspor, while they have one game less played than Trabzonspor and Alanya.
No new problems reported for Sivasspor; left-back Ziya Erdal (16/1) and defender Aaron Appindangoyé (13/0) will miss the game due to injuries.
Besiktas managed to lose two points from their own game on Friday against Ankaragucu (2:2) as they were up with a 2:0 score and received the equaliser in the third minute of injury time.

Galatasaray vs Basaksehir

Galatasaray met the expectation in the last round of Super Lig when they recorded a 1:2 victory on the road against Gaziantep.
They had some minor difficulties in the first part when the hosts looked slightly more aggressive via counters but visibly appeared better when the match moved to the second and took the double lead with goals in the 51st and the 78th minute. The hosts did manage to reduce the deficit from the penalty in the last minutes, but there was simply not enough time for them to do more.
Galatasaray is at 3rd place on the table, being only three points in deficit compared to the leaders from Fenerbahce and a ticket for the Champions League.

The home side will be missing injured left-back Tasdemir (8/0), right full-backs Elabdellaoui (10/0), Ozbayrakli (4/0), offensive Caglayan (12/3), Feghouli (14/2), and forward Falcao (8/5).

Basaksehir disappointed in the last round at home against underdogs from Hatayspor when they suffered a pretty demoralizing 1:5 defeat.

They looked completely absent from the field, conceding as many as three in the first, and two more in the second, being able to score only a comforting one in the 80th, but that one too was an own goal by the visiting side. Truly, a poor appearance, that they want to forget as soon as possible.

Basaksehir currently occupies 15th place on the table, having four points more than relegation placed Erzurum BB and looking like a side that goes from poor to worse.

The guests will be missing left-back Bolingoli-Mbombo (6/0), right-backs Caicara (5/0), Rafael (16/0), midfielders Ozcan (18/0), Chadli (10/1), and Visca (15/5).
This is not the time for a setback

Basaksehir is appearing poorly this season in Super Lig, and combined with their latest convincing defeat, I simply can not see them as a truly competitive side here. On the other hand, Galatasaray has every reason to approach this clash with a maximum engagement, as the Champions League ticket is just within their reach, and I would be truly surprised by any other outcome except the hosts’ victory without much of problems later in the game.
